At Luua (“we”, “our”, or “us”), we value your privacy and are committed to protecting your data. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and handle your information.

1. Data Collection and Tracking
We use PostHog to track certain product and crash analytics events, such as user onboarding and feature usage. Tracking is done to improve product stability and user experience. We do not use tracking for advertising or unrelated secondary purposes.

2. Use of Google Account Information
Luua uses Google OAuth solely for user authentication and account creation. When you choose to sign up or log in with your Google account, we request access to your Google email address, name, and profile picture. This information is used exclusively to:
a. Create your Luua account
b. Personalize your user profile (e.g., display your name and profile picture)

We do not access any other Google account data or request broader permissions. We do not use your Google account information for advertising, analytics, or AI training purposes.

2. Data Deletion and Account Removal
If you request your data to be deleted, we will remove your personal data (including Google account information) from our operational databases. However, we may retain non-personal or hashed identifiers (such as a flag or anonymized record) to recognize your account if you choose to rejoin, in order to enhance your onboarding experience.

3. Use of AI Services
We do not use your personal data to train any AI models. However, please note that certain AI features in Luua may be powered by third-party providers (e.g., OpenAI, OpenRouter). While we do not share your data for their model training, we cannot take responsibility for any training practices by those AI providers. Please refer to each provider’s privacy policy to understand their data usage.

4. Your Rights

  • You may request the deletion of your data at any time by contacting us (connect@luua.club).

  • You have the right to know what personal data we hold and for what purpose.

  • You can delete your data from the settings page after login.

5. Chrome Extension Privacy
Luua offers a Chrome extension that adds Luua functionality on platforms like LinkedIn and Twitter/X. The extension injects a Luua button on these platforms' posts and reads Luua local storage to fetch your authentication token for seamless experience.

  • The extension does not access or transmit your personal data beyond what is necessary for authentication and operation.

  • No information from LinkedIn, Twitter/X, or your browsing activity is stored or transmitted by Luua, except as part of normal Luua product interactions.

  • The extension only interacts with Luua services and does not collect your credentials or sensitive information from third-party websites.
